Therapeutic Massage
Better health and well being give
you the ability to live your life to the fullest. You feel great and
have the energy to meet life's challenges and pursue your interests.
Massage benefits your health and well being in many ways:
Massage reverses the effects of
negative stress by bringing about the relaxation response, which
includes reducing blood pressure, heart rate, respiration rate, and
the level of stress hormones (such as adrenaline and cortisol) in
the body.
Massage benefits your ability to
monitor stress signals and respond appropriately by sensitizing you
to your body and improving your body awareness.
Massage benefits blood and lymph
circulation. Good circulation is vital to good health. Your blood
and lymph carry nourishment to millions of cells throughout your
body and carry away the waste eliminated from the cells. Massage
increases the flow of blood and lymph, encourages better exchange of
nutrients at the cellular level, and promotes detoxification. This
process is important because the "future you" is determined by how
well your cells regenerate themselves.
Increased circulation also helps
both prevent and relieve muscle tension—lack of circulation can lead
to chronically tight muscles. In turn, chronically tight muscles
impede circulation and do not receive enough nutrients.
Your body works best when it is
aligned properly. Better alignment means you move easier and are
less likely to experience pain and injury.
In part, proper alignment means that your shoulders are level, your
hips are level, your knees are directly over your ankles, and your
feet point straight forward. Poor alignment stresses your body. For
example, if one hip is forward of the other, it creates torque in
your body that stresses muscles and wears away cartilage in joints.
The most important thing to remember about alignment is that bones
do what muscles tell them to do. The key
to restoring alignment is relaxing tight muscles and strengthening
weak ones.

Reflexology
Reflexology is the practice of
applying pressure to the feet, hands, or ears and head, utilizing
specific thumb, finger and hand techniques
without the use of oil, cream
or lotion.
~ It’s
based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of
the body on the feet, hands, or ears and head, with a premise that
such work effects a physical change in the body.
~In general terms, the benefits of reflexology have to do with the
reduction of stress.
~Because the feet, hands, ears and head help set the tension level
for the rest of the body, they are an easy way to interrupt the
stress signal and reset homeostasis, the body's equilibrium

Bio Veda Wellness
Our Exclusive
“Body Balancing” program is designed to boost the
immune system, promote healthy and natural detoxification, increase
core level energy and bring the body back to balance.
Stress and Health:
It is important to understand the impact that both psychological and
physiological stress can have on your state of health and wellbeing.
Neurological Stress Reduction therapy is focused on balancing the
body by helping to reduce stress. NSRT
is based on five core principles:
1) Stress
causes or exacerbates 80-85% of all human illness.
2) A
reduction in stress caused by environmental, chemical and food
substances can alleviate many types of symptomatic expressions.
3)
The brain creates associations between environmental substances we
ingest, breath and touch. Some of these associations are
inappropriate and trigger symptoms you may be experiencing
4) These
associations can be broken using a combination of harmonic
frequencies, sound and light.
5)
Patients will experience improved health on many levels through the
integrated use of light therapy, nutrition, herbal remedies, enzymes
and homeopathic medications.
Nutrition & Homeopathy:
The fourth pillar of wellness is the integrated use of nutrition,
herbal products, enzymes and homeopathic medications. BioVeda

 |

Vitamins and Nutrients to boost the immune system and support
the body |
