We fell in love with alpacas back in 1996 when we were looking to diversify our mixed farming operation. We adopted the slogan of "Embrace the Lifestyle!" to describe our new venture as that was what attracted us to alpacas. We wanted to stay on the farm and have livestock that would be easy to handle and care for so that our girls could safely and enthusiastically take part in our family business. But we also needed something that would be a better economic choice than grain or cattle had been in the past. Alpacas fit the bill in all categories.
Our Alpacas are from Chilean bloodlines and provide the colour and conformation so desirable to the industry. Rich browns, rare blacks and greys and beautiful rose greys are our specialties. We have recently added some Peruvian lines to our herd and will continue to breed for excellence.
You’ll find us 7 km South and 3 km East of Lintlaw in East-Central Saskatchewan off of Highway 49 about 3 hours East of Saskatoon. Visitors, customers, alpaca enthusiasts as well as fiber artists are always welcome. You’ll know you’re here when you see the "World’s Largest Alpaca" painted on our barn.
